at the age of 14, Ava August performed before a SOLD sold-out crowd of over 30000 fans on the Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles ahead of a Los Angeles Kings professional hockey game. Ava August was recruited and was booked by the Los Angeles Dodgers and L.A. Galaxy, professional soccer and baseball teams according to reports, but the epidemic of COVID-19 forced cancellations of those performances. Ava August, at the 15 years old, became one of the newest performers and judges for American Idol Season 19. Ava was presented with the GOLDEN ticket during the Audition Round. After that, the Genre, Showstoppers, Duets and Celebrity and Top 16 rounds were held. Ava was named to America's TOP 10 for the year. Ava August sang two originals on American Idol - Neighbor Boy and Ghost of You. Ava was also a star in an unforgettable duet featuring internationally-acclaimed singer, Josh Groban. Ava was the first to release her critically acclaimed song Daybreak at the age of fifteen. It was accompanied with her first music video with animation. Daybreak as well as the track Tropical Surf Hour was broadcasted on KX93.5 FM during the daytime of 11/01/20. On November 29, Daybreak was broadcast on 88.5 FM LA/OC before 11M listeners residing in Southern California.
