Dina is a native of Forest Hills Queens and raised in the Queens area. But, she relocated to Dix Hills Long Island before the conclusion of her junior high year. Her two brothers are Gregory the elder brother of her, and Evan. Modeling was her first job in the field. She did it from the age of 9 to 16. Ron Stetson taught her the Sanford Meisner acting technique at The Neighborhood Playhouse. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among the other actors that received this instruction. The first role she acted in was from Beverly Hills 90210. This required her moving out to Los Angeles. Her debut role was Johnny Mnemonic. She did all of the stunts in the film and helped establish her as an athletic actress. Her agent was Matt LeBlanc, so through her talent agent, she was able to land a regular role on Friends.
