The performer was born on 26 November 1996 in Santa Monica California in the United States of America. She is the only daughter of Vincenzo Barba. The family moved into Point Pleasant New Jersey when she was 6 years old. For her schooling, she completed her studies at Red Bank Catholic High School in New Jersey. Her education continued through Catholic University where she earned a bachelor of architecture. The violin was first played at the age four, and was referred to by the name Violin Girl. She was referred to by her nickname due to her appearances. She taught violin lessons for children from the neighborhood. At the age of nineteen, she appeared on Season 6 of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. But she was eliminated following finishing 16th on the show.
